Apollo Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Apollo Dating app ("Apollo," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Apollo. By using the app, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into this agreement.
3. Account and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or suspicious activity.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Apollo for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users; send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Reverse engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app's operations.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the service without permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4A. AI-Assisted Features
Some Apollo features use automated systems (including machine learning and language models) to produce recommendations and explanations. These outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and are provided for informational purposes within the app experience.
You agree not to misuse, probe, or attempt to circumvent safety controls for these features.
5. Content and Licenses
- You retain ownership of the content you upload but grant Apollo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and distribute that content within the app to operate and improve the service.
- You represent that you have the rights to upload any content you provide.
6. Location and Permissions
If you enable location, we may use it to provide distance-based features. You can disable location in device settings; some features may not work without it.
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
- If Apollo offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, they are billed via the App Store. Pricing, billing cycles, renewals, and cancellations follow Apple's policies.
- Refunds are handled per App Store rules.
8. Disclaimers
- Apollo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee matches, relationships, or specific outcomes.
- We are not responsible for user-generated content, interactions, or conduct; exercise caution when meeting others.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apollo and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Apollo, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Certain provisions (e.g., content licenses, disclaimers, limitations) survive termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date and may provide in-app or email notice of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
