- Location Data: If you grant permission, approximate or precise location for distance-based features.

- Payment/Subscription Data: If applicable, in-app purchase information (handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment details).
- Push Tokens: Device tokens for notifications.
- Automated Processing Data: Profile text, preferences, and photo metadata/signals used to generate compatibility suggestions and "why this pick" explanations.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Apollo app, including matchmaking, swipes/likes, chats, and recommendations.
- Authenticate you and secure your account.
- Personalize content, including profile suggestions based on your preferences.
- Send notifications about matches, messages, or account-related updates (if enabled).
- Support subscriptions and in-app purchases (where applicable).
- Monitor performance, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Generate and improve AI-assisted compatibility suggestions, explain recommendation reasons, and tune ranking quality.
- Run automated and manual safety workflows (for example, scam/spam detection and report triage).
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, storage, image processing, push notifications, authentication, and support vendors who help us operate Apollo.
- Legal/Compliance: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Apollo, our users, or others.

We retain your information as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request account deletion; some data may remain for backups, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the app at your own risk and keep your credentials safe.

- Access/Update: You can access or update your profile information within the app.

- Permissions: You can enable/disable location and notification permissions via device settings.
- Marketing: We currently do not send marketing emails; if we do in the future, you may opt out at any time.
- SIWA/Keychain: If you use Sign in with Apple or device Keychain, you control those settings in your Apple account/device.
8. Children's Privacy
Apollo is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us to delete it.
9. International Users
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the app, you consent to this processing.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date and may provide in-app or email notice of material changes.
